Jan Tarasin

Jan Tarasin (Kalisz 11 IX 1926 - Anin 8 VIII 2009) in ASP in Cracow under direction Prof. Zbigniew Pronaszko studied painting (1946-1951). He still made a debut as the student on and for Modern art exhibit in Cracow in 1948/49. After 1956 he started painting nonfigurative pictures. Arrangements of distinguished elements (determined as "objects") were put by the artist on the plain (cycle Inside, 1957), or in the allusive space (cycles Feast, 1957, Brzeg, 1962-1964, counted Objects, from 1968, antique shop, 1968). This principle continues in his painting in the following years, differences between periods of the artistic work concern the way of drawing up "of " objects and situating them in the space of the image or towards the background. For years 70.  objects are changing in graphical, usually black signs on bright backgrounds (cycle Collection, from 1971). Backgrounds next are illusory spatial, diversified walorowo, soft. In years 90. the artist came back for colour, more painting solving both signs, and backgrounds, often dark or interpenetrating from with objects (cycle Hatchery of objects, 1992). Tarasin from 1962 is a group member for Krakowska. In 1963-67 he taught the Cracow ASP interior design in the Department. in 1967 he moved to Warsaw himself, in 1974 took the pedagogic work up in the Department of the Painting ASP in Warsaw. In 1987-90 he was a rector of this college. In 1976 he received a prize of the Artistic Criticism for them. of Cyprian Kamil Norwid, in 1984 Award for them. of Jan Cybisa.; Award on the MB of the Play in San Marino 1965. Alongside the painting he is dealing with the picture and the graphics - up to years 60. with lithograph, from 1974 serigrafią. In 1974-1981 he spent 8 author's of Notebooks from serigrafiami and with own texts. In 1995 the Incentive was held in a Gallery exhibition of the artist which the monographic catalogue accompanied.
